The Creative Visionary Behind Savoy Interior Design LLC

Born and raised in historic southwestern Pennsylvania, I have always had an affinity for elements of structural design and aesthetics. Although it was a passion, I began a career in pediatric and medical libraries. My career path started to change when I completed the renovation of my home, the historic Orr farm homestead. I was recognized twice by Pittsburgh Magazine for this work.

I completed the career switch in 2007, after earning a Master of Interior Architecture from Chatham University.

The inspiration for the name of my design firm came from my Dad who lived in London. He would tell us stories of the old, but elegant hotels are known for their quality service. Savoy became the name I chose for those principles. I specialize in residential and light commercial projects.

My work has been displayed in the media, publications, enjoyed by visitors in the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Shows and the Junior League Show Houses.

My 1857 home was the featured media house for the Pittsburgh Symphony Holiday Splendor Tour in 2019.

I have been recognized by my design association ASID for mastery of details of an Art Deco Media Room with period furnishings. My love and passion of design is guided by the vision of each of my clients. They are my eyes and I create their design story from the beginning chapter to the last sentence.
